At the local level, the sport in Wales is run by Clubs, which are affiliated to the WOA.
The Welsh open clubs are:
ERYRI Orienteering Club (North)
Mid Wales Orienteering Club
Taf Running & Orienteering Team (South-west)
Sarn Helen (Lampeter area)
Swansea Bay Orienteering Club
South Wales Orienteering Club (South-east)
There are also a number of closed clubs affiliated to WOA e.g. for universities, the forces, etc.
The closed clubs are:
Splot Poly Lost Old Timers (Ex-UWCC, CC, UWIST)
Bangor University Orienteers
